Beside using File Manager of your site control panel to upload files, you can also use any FTP client programs out there to upload and download files between your computer and our server.
The one we recommend most is WS_FTP, one of the best FTP client programs available. Here is the download address:

They no long offer WS_FTP LE, which was a free version for educational use. But you can get 30-day free trial of both WS_FTP Home and WS_FTP Professional editions.
If you are looking for a freeware, the one we have tested is Mindy's FTP which comes with Top Dawg HTML Editor (our favorite editor). Here is Mindy's page for the programs:
