SHARED BANDWIDTH
Even though we set a default monthly bandwidth limit in each hosting plan, we do not charge for any extra use. How possible?
As a site owner or webmaster, you may wonder if we set a limit to the amount of data transfer used by your site each month. Yes, we do from the technical point of view.
For example, each hosting account in our Shared Web Hosting packages is given a 2 GB data transfer limit (by the way, that is a lot) to start with.
But since all accounts share the total bandwidth on a certain server, we could increase this data transfer limit for a particular site according to its need and trend.
The following are the guidelines and procedures we take to handle your bandwidth needs:
We do not charge for extra bandwidth use.
We closely monitor your site data transfer usage each month and increase the limit for the sites that need more bandwidth. Once a new limit is set, it will stay there and will not fall back to the 1 GB default limit. This way we won't have to adjust your data transfer limit each month.
During any time of the month, you will be notified by email when 80% of the limit is reached. When this happens, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can increase your limit again to accomodate the new need.
If your site's monthly data transfer is extremely demanding, say 100 GB, then we will help you upgrade your account to an account that suits your needs.
With these measures put into action, you do not have to worry about bandwidth for your site before you can attract massive web traffic to your site.
